Popup Blocker/Flashplayer Pro is not a Popup ad

This is primarily directed to 1492 or Mr. Wizard. I did a search and after reading posts there decided to upgrade my IE Popup Blocker to HIGH, what if anything besides popup ads will I not see. We...

This sounds more like a browser hijack, and should be dealt with by removing the offending adaware/malware. Try using Adwcleaner first, no install require, then followup with a Malwarebytes Free scan.
