Portable Satelite Antenna Tripod

I recently purchased a Winguard brand Tripod stand for my Tailgater Satelite dish. The box stated that this was supposed to be compatible with my Tailgater antenna. However I was unable to fit the legs into the cutouts on the metal base plate. Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks for the info.

    I have the tripod and like copeland stated the older tailgater (rubber feet have screws with spaces) works fine. Do you have the newer tailgater with the glued on feet?

    It will work with the older style Tailgater (we have older model)not the new style. Ours has the larger black rubber feet with a gap between feet and the dish and works great.
