Posting to Blog

What software do you use to post to your blog or web sites. I am using Windows Live Writer but it has stopped working and can not reinstall it. Looking for something that I can use to write posts offline and save as draft and post later.

  • While I have a blog on bloodspot, I also keep one with more images using Adobe Dreamweaver. Overkill, but I've used it for a number of other websites & it works for me.
  • We type everything up in a text editor (MS Word in our case) including the links to the pictures. Once we have everything thing in there we copy and paste into blogger and post it. We prefer it this way as we can type stuff as it happens and post later, seems to work well for us.
  • NY,
I linked to your blog from your most recent post on this thread. Great Blog!

The quality of your site tells me that you have much experience in this. May I pick your brain?

I started my first travel blog a little over a month ago to document our trip to the national parks. At first I was satisfied with my basic blog, but it has now grown out of control, as the whole thing is one long page.

Could you point me in the right direction on how to organize the posts by date so viewers don't have this big long page to deal with?

    Thank you,

  • My site is on blogger (blogspot) and I can use any text editor or word processor to write off line and then cut and paste onto the blog site's editor. If I am adding photos, I do that on the site's editor after the writing off line and place them exactly where I want them. This is the simplest way that I have found to do this whether from my PC, my phone, or my tablet.
