My local camping world will match their website prices. All I had to do is pull it up on your smartphone and show them.

The Wood Village Camping World (east of Portland) quickly honoured the online prices. That part is great - but I still don't appreciate the fact that there are three prices:

1) Shelf (MSRP) price
2) Good Sam price (slightly lower)
3) Internet sale price (usually much lower)

And you can pay which ever one you'd like to.

In recent years - they've lost quite a few sales from me, since this was an "unwritten" policy and I didn't know about until seeing this thread. I didn't have a Good Sam membership - so I simply walked away from an MSRP shelf price (despite asking the store staff for a discount).

What's the big deal and hip hip hoorays about giving you the sales price they nationally advertised? Isn't that what stores all over the world do millions of times a day? They didn't do anything extraordinary. Not bashing CW just saying....

In the St Patricks Day flyer they gave basically a 15% discount on tires - plus $39 installation. I requested it when I ordered my tires and they did not know about the discount but assured me they would give it to me if that is what the offer was. They did just that. They have me for a life customer.

What's really interesting is that my previous question hasn't been addressed. What that says to me is that CW is counting on people giving in and paying full price after having traveled a long way to avoid wasting time and fuel to return a second time.

I find it odd that there is such a difference in pricing between the CW website and the store.

It also appears that the prices in store are mostly MSRP, unless you have Good Sam membership. I haven't ordered from the website - but it appears that the (usually lower price than in store) internet pricing doesn't require Good Sam membership.

I'd really like a "ship to store" option...

Without a qualifier I interpret that the CEO has just implemented a price match policy for any item that is sold on the open market ("match any price in the market") and is available at CW. Since the OPs comparison was to an Amazon price I take away from this that CW in store and internet pricing will match any price in the open market. I also take away that items bought on the internet from CW are eligible for and receive the $39 installation offer ("and still honor the 39 dollars").
If the intent is that CW will price match on like items that is a bold move. It shows a sincere desire to be competive in the RV market and a determined effort to extend, to CW customers and GS members, the best service and pricing CW is able offer. If this price match extends beyond this thread and offer to the OP this is a huge step for CW and puts them into the class of price matching to gain your business that most large retailers honor.
