when i need a fax {about once a year} i scan the Document as an image file then use an online fax service, to send it to the fax number
anyways i have a canon mx80, it some times sets for months, then i will print until it out of ink ?
other times it may get used twice a month, it seems my needs come in batches
never just a single printed page or image
its about 4 or 5 years old
interesting this topic came up, i just finished signing some documents (5) pages, that had been emailed to me as PDF files, printed them, signed them,
scanned them, then attached them to an email
software glitch was preventing me from converting the scans as PDF,
the sender needed them back in the morning, so i just attached the scans
i don't have to do this very often and i get rusty
i used MS scan and fax to create the scans, worked perfect
i like Canon printers, always had good look with them
