I too suspect a nearby AM radio transmitter (Commercial station, not a personal one) I know that in this motor home I sometimes get into other electronics when I key up my TS-2000 (Depending on the hardware and band) and in my travels,,,, If I happen to, for example, stop in at my credit union (I can see several commercial towers from the parking lot) I hear radio on just about everything that has a speaker.
