- dsteinmanExplorerWe use the Raspberry Pi 2 for media center both in the RV and at home. The software we use is Openelec which is a port of the Kodi media center software. It supports movies, music, and photos.
I don't know about that software specifically, but you can try different software and the Raspberry Pi 2 is certainly powerful enough to display a slideshow of photos.

Episode 3 tells how to make a long distance Wi-Fi adapter though some of the hardware they used is hard to find now days (As it happens I have one). There are alternatives however. - dsteinmanExplorerI will check later when I am home. We don't use the photos part very much.
