are you just looking for a hot spot and have cell reception? If so easiest and least expensive is to use your phone as a hot spot. next is to get a hot spot from your cell carrier, but that (a) costs and (b) is considered an additional device hence an additional monthly charge.

If your looking for something to boost your signal when you are in marginal areas, a hot spot is NOT the solution, a cell phone booster is a solution.
