ok, it is pitch black outside, there is no red light glowing in the dark, so....
next step is to replace the coax from the roof connection to the Jack antenna.
the funny thing is I was playing around connecting and disconnecting things... I discovered that just the coax screwed into the back of the antenna and nothing attached at the other end I still can receive the one channel I have been getting all along. Channel 08 a CTV channel out of Ottawa some 100 plus KM away.
Others in the campground are telling me they are getting 5-8 channels on their batwings.
