Dang, that is some crazy cpu usage! Did chrome have some really busy tabs open?
25-50% still sounds awfully high to me. On my small computers, I notice slowness when they getto 20%, and they usually run below that, say 5-18%. According to Task Manager, which I do not completely trust.
Win 7 boots. First thing check cpu usage under task manager and it you would see it climb from almost 0 to 100% and stay. All the squares in task manager would turn green and stay there.
One time after booting up, saw something and Chrome on the screen and then disappeared. Delete chrome and dropped to the 25-50.
I agree that's too high but the laptop is seldom used and now does what I want. I will be chasing more on it later.
