Reauthorize DirecTV Receiver?
Why does DirecTV unauthorized a receiver, only to let you reauthorize it? I had to reauthorize my DirecTV in the trailer

yep, it would be interesting to know what this deauthorization means.
my first thought was the situation when you buy a used receiver you should always check to see if they will authorize its use and that the previous owner didn't leave a big bill due.
