Recommend Apps for Android smartphone

I know this has been asked before, but I was not successful in finding the previous threads.

What Android Apps do you find useful and fairly priced for your smartphone while traveling in the RV?

(We just acquire some Galaxy S3 phones and have installed the Sygic GPS software which we used on our older tablet.) Old dogs, new tricks. :)
  • All of these apps are Free and work very well for RV traveling.

    *Swiss Army Knife - helpful tool kit including flashlight
    Coach Net - If you are a memeber
    Craiglist - never know when you will need something
    *Google Earth- See RV parks before you arrive and the area
    **Foxfi- Free wifi hotspot using your current data
    *GasBuddy - Best fuel prices
    Google Sky- nice too see what stars are over head.
    **iTriage- a MUST have for carrying all of your medical records, first aid and much more
    Pass Port America- Half price RV Parks, membership required
    **Raindar-Must have for live radar while on the road
    **RV Parky- BEST RV park app I have seen, VERY complete
    **Satellite AR- Sat pointing app, very helpful
    *The Weather Channel- Perfect for live weather where ever you are
    *TripAdvisor- top rated attraction and restaurants in your area
    **TV Antenna Helper- PERFECT app for getting all of the stations on you batwing on the first try. Set the phone under your antenna crank and point the antenna.

    * Wouldn't be without
    ** Use on every trip without fail
  • IExit (free)- what is at the next exit on Interstates

    RVParky (free) - RV parks and campgrounds

    Walmart Overnight Parking (free) - shows Walmarts that allow overnight parking and tells which ones don't

    GrooveIP (paid) - allows free calls by data through Google Voice numbers so you don't use your voice minutes (if you have limited minutes)

    FoxFi (free with limitations or paid) - allows wifi hotspot use to connect laptop when carrier does not allow it

    Opera Mini Browser (free) works well in areas where data speeds are low

    Gas Buddy (free)- get gas prices anywhere

    Pilot/Flying J app (free) - find Pilot/Flying J stations and track your points from purchases using the free RV discount gas card

    Also most ERS providers have an app to contact them to get help sent to you.

    As you see all but one are free - no need to pay for Android apps to get RV resources.
  • Allstays Camp & Rv - shows nearby campgrounds, Walmarts that allow overnight parking, and a long list of truck stops and big box stores - which you can choose which to show

    Radar Now (free) - real time local weather radar

    PdaNet+ - tether your Android phone to your laptop to get internet anywhere.

    GoodSam Roadside Assistant - contact GoodSam in the event of problem, and sends your GPS location

    Noaa Weather Alerts - will alert you to any weather advisory in your area
