I have been trying (for free) Copilot GPS app for both Android and Iphone. It has an RV profile that includes both height restriction routing and propane avoidance routing. So far it has routed better than the RandMcN and as good as the Garmin. It also lets you select from alternate routings which the Garmin and Rand don't do. Maps are from Navtec. The free version gives a 14 day trial of all features but after 14 days it still works, routes, etc. but has no voice direction and does not auto recalculate routes but requires a button to be pushed to recalculate. The US Premium version is $9.99 and adds turn by turn voice direction including street names, auto recalculate if you go off route, lane guidance, and traffic ($10 per year subscription for traffic- first year free), plus other features. Map updates are free. Maps are stored on the device - this can be used with no data connection and maps are stored in internal SD storage on Android or on the phone storage on Iphone. So far it is working well. It certainly does everything the Garmin or the RandMc does and you are not spending anywhere near $400. (One word of caution - an app update was issued a day ago that causes the app not to shut down when exited - this will be fixed shortly so wait awhile before downloading. Try it for free and decide for yourself. If nothing else if you are considering an RV GPS you can see what one is like without spending any money.
