I've been using third party replacement batteries, but always choose the better ones that have two year warranty. Tried a cheaper one once, bad results. But the two year warranty ones have lasted well and performed admirably, at about 50% of the OEM price. The better ones are made in Taiwan of Japan, as opposed to China.
