Replacement laptop, do I want touch screen?
My old Dell Latitude (xp pro) has just about run its lifecycle. Over the years I've replaced various parts on it to keep it going but I think it may have an aliment that is progressively fatal at this...

If you purchase Windows 8 Pro it should have the ability to downgrade to Windows 7 Pro. Driver availability is sometimes an issue with the downgrade.
Dell still has some 15.6" windows 7 machines on their cyber Monday website. Look for "Windows 7 Deals"
