Replacement laptop, do I want touch screen?

I would not get the touch screen on a laptop unless you are getting one that folds flat and looks and feels like a tablet. I got a Lenovo twist. It converts to a tablet by rotating the screen and closing it with the display on top. It's like a 1/2 inch thick tablet. I do not use it that way very much and it is a lot more expensive than a non touch screen. With the Lenovo Twist I have Windows 8.1 with a 500 GB hard drive, USB 3.0 ports, HDMI output WiDi (wireless display) and a i7 processor. It's a great little laptop and all I have to do is open it up, twist the display 180 degrees and close it. Now I have a tablet.
