Running Win 10 and Garmin Base Camp on a laptop

Has anyone that has made the change to Windows 10 on a laptop been able to run and or install Garmin's Base Camp. Been trying to figure out which laptops it will work on. Both the MS and Garmin forums...

Are you using the latest version of BaseCamp (4.6.2)?

The Microsoft Community forum has this suggestion:

Please try this workaround:
1. Delete the file "user.config"
2. Start BaseCamp
3. A new file is generated by BaseCamp while BaseCamp starts.
