Basecamp has a rather steep learning curve and it's certainly not intuitive how it and the GPS interface.
Then after you spend all the time to create a route you have to review it step by step on the GPS to see if does work or the Garmin does it's own thing.
If I create a GPX file and tell it to use it, it should go where I tell it. That is definitely not the case with the 760.
