I've used the RV760 since early july, 3 trips, 3500 miles or so, over 30 days on the road. So far I am impressed. easy to import S&T gpx files, RV parks and services is very extensive, road info is great. really helped us plan stops and find services like dump stations. Info on campgrounds is extensive.
Is it perfect??? NO. Just like any GPS, use common sense, it can do some strange routing. And since it only asks for overall length, combined with how length limits are posted on highways, it can give phony info. For example if the road has length limits based on axles, or trailer length it may say your to long. Lolo pass in Mt/Idaho is an example, it has a section with a max trailer length of 45', (what do you expect with a sign that says "windy road next 99 miles") but it's overall length you put in RV length. Same with speed limits. Some states speed limits are based on # of axles and weight. E.G. idaho. Same issue with tunnels. There are some that are posted with side clearance being very low and it may try to reroute you. E.G, in one place on 101 tunnel is listed at 10' side clearance, 14' center clearance. So guess what garmin uses! 10ft. , but that's also what the tunnel signs shows as well. But in reality that more an issue with how states post road data.
Am I glad I bought it. ABSOLUTELY. Would I recomend it for someone else for consideration: ABSOLUTELY.
