Copilot app lets you put in if you are carrying propane and gives two choices about height - 12' or 13'. It also stores the maps on the phone and will move them to the internal SD card. You can use this app without a data plan for routing and navigating while driving. If you want to use the traffic function you need data but so far in my experience now with it over several trips it has not used much data to give traffic alerts and re-route. There is a free and a premium version - the free version does everything but does not auto reroute if you go off route - you have to push a screen button to reroute. The premium version is $9.99 and goes on sale often for $7.99 - may even be that now - and auto reroutes. The premium comes with a free year of traffic service. Renewal of traffic service is $10 a year. You are getting USA maps - with unlimited updates if you buy the USA version - there are also Canada version and Euro versions. With the USA maps you can download maps for the whole country or each region if you want to conserve memory space on the phone or tablet. It works as well as a standalone GPS nav unit and better than the Rand stand alone RV unit as that one routed me onto a road with low height clearance - and this one has not done that at all. Set this to RV Profile and fill in the info about the RV and it will keep you off low clearance roads and off bridges and tunnels with propane restrictions. There is also a car profile, a walking profile, and a motorcycle profile.
