I have the RM 7710 and despite the few problem with it, I still love it. I hope to upgrade to the 7720 this week as long as it seems like the new features are worth the upgrade. We had a problem this week with the 7710's power cord. All of a sudden the 12v power cord did not work and we had to use the 120v one instead. I understand the RM will allow some trip planning using a laptop and then able to download the trip to the unit. I need to look into that and if it works it would be much more useful to my travel plans.
