7710 after almost 2 years and over 15,000 miles report. Screen/program freeze, dropped/zero satellite signals and no audio output. Sent to factory couple months after wty up and was fixed under wty. Current status: screen/program freeze four to five time a day, audio output jack intermittent, powers down once or twice daily (seems to be battery charge problem)
My summary:
Software is great - hardware sucks - would not recommend 7710. Can't speak for other models.
Hints:
1. Weak or no satellites - try rerouting power cord while watching number of sats. I ended up clipping mine to alum. windo frame
2. Get FM transmitter and connect to audio out jack to get audio thru radio speakers. Fantastic sound.
3. Suction cup mount will not hold for extended periods. This is a very heavy device, after days drive unplug and remove from mount.
4. If having glare problem try mounting on sun visor. That works great on our class A.
