RV GPS's????

Simple question; what is the best RV GPS around??
We are looking at reviews for both the Rand McNally RVND 7710/7715 LM. From some earlier comments we were 100% for either one of them, now not so sure. Please, give us your opinions & we'll consider them all. We live in Windsor, Ontario, Canada & plan on travelling into areas of both the US & Canada that we don`t know.
Thanks all & have a great day.

Regards
Gerry & Janet Ciurysek
  • We have the RVND 7710 and find it great. It helps us find all the things we need along the way while we travel and checking out campgrounds on it is a big plus. The screen is large and easy to read, also like the way you can break the stats into segments. I have a Tom Tom for work at home and it was a little while to get use to the way the RVND 7710 works, but once you get it, it is great.
  • They all use the same map database.

I use and like my old Garmin Nuvi 255W. I update the maps 4 times a year. I currently have 2014.10 Garmin CN Full North America NT installed.

  • All of my GPSs have been Garmin and therefore I stayed with them and got the dezl 760. I've only used it in the truck so far, but I like it. The screens are a laid out a little better than my older Garmins and I like the large format.

While there's always some to stay away from (cheap off brands like cheap tires), of the top three brands, it's just like tires, trucks, cars, MHs, etc, it comes down to which one you like. Which ever one you buy, if you get it from Amazon and there's something you really don't like about it, sent it back and order a different one.
