Check your location/address on TV Fool to see how many OTA channels you could reasonably expect. Typically the best that we can do with our batwing (with wingman) antenna is receive stations only down to an NM of about 2 or 3 db and often we can't even do that, especially if a station is broadcasting on VHF (channels below real channel 14). Unfortunately, the 8 channels you are getting may be about right for your location.
