If you are willing to go up on the roof you should take a voltage meter and see if things are working properly. Once on the roof with the antenna raised (an assumption that you can raise and lower the antenna) remove the coax from the antenna head (7/16" wrench required). Set your voltage meter to DC and touch one probe to the outside collar and one probe to the center wire. The meter should read 12+VDC (13ish if you are plugged in and the charger is working).
