Samsung Galaxy 5X phone

Before today, when I would open my phone, by swiping the screen, it would display the weather across the top of the screen of whatever town I was in. I could then tap that and get a five day forecast in greater detail. The phone is no longer showing that. I do not seem to an have "app" for weather. Anyone have the same phone and know how to restore that weather feature?
  • I loose mine every so often and have to go find it. It's a Widget and not an app.

On that first screen where it would normally be, put your finger there with a little pressure and hold it. You should then see some of the widgets come up and the weather should be one of them. Put your finger on the weather widget and slide it to the first screen.

It that doesn't work, go by any cell store and they should be able to help you in a few seconds.

  • Trackrig: At first I thought "Hey, this guy's sending me on a "snipe hunt." But, by golly, there was the widget. Thanks for your help.

As someone said, that is a Widget not an app.. The S-5 is a bit of a pain on Widgets.

Press and hold any "blank" spot on any home page till it goes into EDIT mode (Multiple pages display tiled) at the bottom will be an icon for Widgets. hit it, then find your weather widget and bring it back by pressing and holding till it's movable, and moving it back to where it was on your home page.
