Just to close on this issue, I did purchase the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 7 inch tablet and I have an OBDlink LX connector. I took the tablet to the motorhome with the connector, hooked it up and it paired up perfectly. There were no issues whatsoever. So if anyone has similar ideas based on my experience you can go ahead and use the two together.
