Agree with Bill.Winegard that you need a straight run of coax between receiver and satellite antenna, but I did not run coax through a window. What I did was go to the back of my "video control center", unpluging the "TV out" and "Satellite in" cables. I ran "Satellite in" cable to the "Sat in" of the Dish receiver. Then I plugged the " TV out" coax to "TV out" on the Dish receiver. Needed short coax extensions to make it work.
