Edd505, thanks for your suggestion. I am subscribing to the locals but there's not enough bandwidth for Dish or any other provider to include the subchannels. There's a lot more subchannels than channels so if all you're getting is what Dish is providing, you're missing a ton of very good programming.
Yes, the there's often not much information for the OTA channels so a little surfing may be required to figure out on. Of course, you could get the call letters and do an internet search to find the programming schedule if it's really that important.
