Setting coordinates on Garmin 760?

This is the first Garmin that I can't search by entering coordinates. I can format the coordinates for whatever style is available, but don't have a clue where to use them to set a location. What is the trick? I know I'm getting old but this is ridicules. Thanks for any help!

  • Finally found them under "categories" (at the very end) after clicking on "where to". Seems like Garmin couldn't have made it any more difficult to locate.

765 here. Select "where to" and scroll down to coordinates

That's the way I'm used to inserting coordinates, but I don't see that option after "where to".

I know how it works just not how to insert them on a 760. Would you share the way you do it?
If it's like most, when you press Coordinates, it'll display the coords of your current location.

Simply press the N number and it should allow you to edit that. When all else fails, see Page 4 of the manual.

We have the 760 and use the lat/long entry all the time - it's easier than punching in an address, and you know you have it correct.

A number of the camping apps we use give us lat/long for campgrounds, etc.

I don't have the 760 so I can't answer the question, but the OP's question is "How do I enter the GPS coordinates for a destination I want to drive to?"

This may not apply, but on my Garmin 2555LMT, you hit "Where to?"
    then "Categories"
then keep scrolling down. The last entry on that list is "Coordinates."

What is it that you are wanting to do? The Garmin sets your current location without any entry necessary. Are you trying to enter a Lat/Long rather than using an address or POI?

I thought coordinates were latitude and longitude? But yes to your question. I know where I am, but would like to use coordinates to go somewhere else. ;)
