I have a 1000.4 with both Eastern and Western Arc LNB arms and use a dish finder app to just get the general location of the sats.
But for sat acquisition I use an
Accutrac III+. This meter displays the signal strength of all 3 sats
simultaneously so as you aim the dish you see the results in real time.
BTW, the Western Arc arm I bought didn't need anything removed to fit on my 1000.4.
