Should I put my Mobley SIM in another hotspot when parked?

I am lucky enough to have a Mobley on the original plan. I want to be very careful with the Mobley, since it wouldn't be possible to fix or replace it if it broke. I am sometimes parked for ex...

Ohhhh... I didn't know that! Will anything bad happen if I try it? Is there a way that I can be sure, other than buying another hotspot, that this has happened to my SIM?

The reason I ask is that there was talk a while back about how they were changing the firmware so that the Mobleys would shut off after 2 hours or whatever and not be able to be on indefinitely. But that never happened to mine.
