I canceled my subscription because of their ridiculous overpriced rates.
The first time they give you a year for a reasonable price, payable by credit card. After the year is up they nail you hard with more than doubling the price.
I paid the high price a couple times and then decided the heck with that - way too expensive.
I was paying 165 or maybe 175 a year. Way to much money.
Now every few months they email me telling me I have 2 weeks free, just turn my receiver on. And they offer a "special" for the first year - $79.96. Reg $175.89.
So if I fall for this, after the first year they will automatically renew me at the high price, on my credit card. Apparently, somewhere in the fine print of all that stuff that nobody reads, if you take their "special rate" that they are entitled to charge your CC without consent after a year.
Horse puckey! They can keep their overpriced service. I don't want most of the stuff they offer anyhow, just a few stations and a Christian talk station, but they won't give me the few I want for a reduced rate. They want me to have all the sports, news and then that idiot Howard Stern. I don't listen to any of that stuff!
