Sirius radio
My subscription runs out 12/28/13 and I was paying 89$ plus taxs.has anybody getting any good deals after you tell them your not renewing ?? The standard rate is to high for only using it or the winter trip,appreciate your input,thanks

- I did not renew after the one year free with my truck and they kept offering lower rates, so they will adjust the rates to keep you, I think the lowest offered was around $15.00 per month. I only used it a maybe 8 hours in the entire year so I have not bothered with it. Call to cancel and tell them it is way too expensive is the reason for cancelling and see what they offer, I personally would not pay more than $5 or $6 a month, but I hardly used it.
- The $89 is probably a YEARLY cost. My first SIRIUS XM subscription for my 2010 F150 Truck was paid on a yearly basis...
I am on a monthly basis now for $24 a month which includes the Family Radio plan and the Travel Link plan...
I actually use the travel link more than the radio part haha. Love all those road maps and where all of the business things are located along the way...
I may have to look into the ala carte subscription as I only listen to a few Country Music stations.
Sure wouldn't leave home without it...

I pay $9.73 per month for the a-la-carte program plus 1 premium channel (Blue Collar Comedy). I can select 50 channels but there aren't really 50 I listen too. I really only listen to about 12 of them. I did pick all the channels that they change to football games on Sunday so I can listen to all the games if I want. Normally these are channels I don't listen too.
There's no way I'd be paying $89 per month. - Look at doing the ala carte subscription - we get all the stations we are interested in for $6.99 per month.
- Their rate is always negotiable and if pushed will never be more than it was last year.
Talk to them.
