Testmy.net tends to give a more realistic bandwidth rate. It allows you to vary the download/upload file sizes, and doesn't rely on Flash based testing which can give an inaccurate indication of your actual speeds. Plus, beware that some ISPs may inflate your test results on SpeedTest.net by allowing a faster connection to that site, making it appear you have a higher bandwidth rate than you actually have when surfing the Net.
