Regarding Latency.. Hughes 7000 uses geo-sync orbit satellites, this means there is a fairly long latency (1/2 second as I recall minimum)
But Excede uses a lower orbit, less latency but the birds are not geo-synced or so I'm told. Have not tried it.. WIll have to check it out later this month.
