Straight Talk is over the Verizon network. Don't know if Straight Talk subscribers have access to all the network "bells and whistles" that Verizon customers do.
We use Walmart's Family Mobile service (on T-Mobile Network). We have had coverage issues when traveling in and out of Florida, think mainly because T-Mobile network is not as extensive and they apparently have fewer roaming agreements with other providers to fill in coverage gaps.
