Straight Talk wi fi hot spot

I renewed the data minutes on my Straight Talk wifi hot spot.....then I get to the camp site and the unit will not connect to the cell signal. I get the indication that it is connecting but then it shuts off. None of my devices will connect to the wifi unit....I don't know if it is a problem with the unit or a problem with straight talk......It has worked well for the past couple of years but not now. I will call after Christmas to see if they know what is the problem. It seems a bit mute now because we are back home and won't need it for a while....Has any one else had a problem with wifi hot spots?
