OK. I did as you suggested. Hopefully that'll cure the problem. Thanks to all who responded....

I have that problem in my Gmail.

Every single email I send or receive automatically puts them into my contacts. Drives me nuts!! Every Craigslist ad I email becomes a contact. So annoying!

So perhaps your Yahoo is doing the same thing.

I wonder if it can be changed in Gmail too..

Some possibility.
You have a setting that automatically adds contacts from any email you receive?
You add someone yourself from an email and it added the rest and you didn't notice?
You replyed to an email that had CC's with it and they got added then?

Look at the names, are there any people that you know or are the names cryptic?
