My niece Ellen (aka unpaid family tech consultant) gave us an Apple TV recently. You don't have to own any Apple computers etc in the house to use it.
Little black box, you hook it up to the TV and connect it to your wifi network. Runs about $100 I think. Most reviews I read from tech writers say it currently gives you the best streaming.
We use it at home for Netflix streaming. Netflix movie selection via streaming is poor, but they have a great new mystery series called The Fall with Gillian Anderson of Xfiles fame.
But I didn't bother bringing it along on our current RV trip because of weak CG wifi signal.
