You are asking for a simple answer. My response is not for you, but for others who may be looking for a way to store shows for later, that requires more expertise. HDHomeRun sells TV tuners that bring local shows to your computer where you can record and de-commercial them. They are now offering a cable service as well. You can record and de-commercial them too. They can be stored on your PC, or a NAS, or even a thumb drive. And you can play them later with HDHomrRun or PLEX or any of the other media player type programs available. You can play them on almost any smart media device.
