- I kept 2010 because of issues. The issue that drives me crazy is trying to find nearby places around a point. It wants to jump back to places around the entire route which is not what I want and a pain to wait for it to time out.
With a few minor changes they would really have an outstanding product. I have used it for years. - I had one route for us that it absolutely would NOT select! Finally just ignored it. Having said that, I like it better than any of the others that I have tried. Notice that it does not show rivers and streams in most cases either. That I don't like! I do like that I don't have to have internet or cell service to see maps.
- Zoom way in and then select your via point.
This has worked for me to eliminate your via point from jumping to a close but unwanted location.
