Surveillance security cameras. Will this work?

I don't think they did. Her dad said he left them right "there" and left to go eat and returned and they were gone. They would only take their car off the dolly once they were parked so they could only be one place. They left having to buy another one and still haven't seen them. I really don't think he misplaced something like that though.
