She used it for a couple of months and hated it, begging for a Win machine. I tried to sell it for $500 (1/2 of what I had into it) but couldn't so ended up trading it for a Win laptop. I personally wouldn't consider another Apple computer.
So, you're saying a short stint with a Mac mini and your daughters hate for it - changed your mind so much that now you know all about Macs...
