Switching Service Between Two Different Phones.

Depending on how old the phones are, you might not be able to do it. It used to be we (when I was in the business) could switch some other carriers over to our service. Some we couldn't - they had the mfg program software in them that prevented it. Some software we could break and some we couldn't

If you have both phones in hand, transfer the sim card and see what happens. If it doesn't work, go by Verizon's office for a visit.
