With Dish you can go with one of the automatic domes. So there is really little need to fight with an open face dish and tripod. Pick one you like and go. Are you going to have Dish at home too? Let Dish set you up, then copy your home setup in your RV then its a basic matter of taking the receivers out of the house when you go.
