We use an open face tripod mounted 1000.4 triple LNB dish with our Hopper w/Sling (Hopper 2) 3-tuner DVR. I switch between eastern and western arc LNBs as needed for the best line of sight as we change locations. We have the same setup at our upstate NY cottage that we use to record/watch programming that we miss while underway using the DishAnywhere app.
Installing the Hopper 3 combined with the Joey's in the stick house. Will more than likely go with a couple of Wally's and an open face dish for the RV, but may go with a tailgator or playmaker.
My only question is, if you buy the Wally straight out, do you still have to pay the $7.99 monthly fee? I guess technician can answer that tomorrow during install.
