I have a problem and it is RV related because I want to use my phone calendar on the road instead of lugging along my laptop.I want to maintain my 2003 MS Outlook calendar and automatically synch it with my Android calendar and my wife's iPad calendar. I use Gmail and have been using the Google calendar to accomplish this. I would enter an appointment in Outlook and it would synch with Google calendar and then to the others. But Google has blocked the synching program so that no longer works. I suppose that I am a victim of the Microsoft Google wars.Google is trying to force me to the cloud and their calendar program exclusively. I don't want to do that because the cloud is not always available when traveling.One option is to switch everything to Apple. I don't want to do that because it would be expensive and I worry about the thousands of documents I have created with Microsoft programs.Has anybody found a way to accomplish what I want now that Google has abandoned me?

Which can then be used to sync with an Android and iPad device.There must also be some paid solutions available?

I use "Companion Link" to sync my office outlook with my Google calendar and contacts. Works great. I paid $50 for lifetime subscriptio.

I've been using the free version of gsyncit. It works great.

The Android app from Google to sync with Outlook has not been available for download for three years - and now it is finally totally discontinued and will no longer work. I use Mozilla Thunderbird and a add on that syncs to Google Calendar that works well. I gave up on using Outlook.

How do you get the free version of gsyncit to work? According to their website it is limited to 50 entries and does not sync deletes -

"The unregistered version is limited to synchronizing one Google and Outlook calendar, synchronizing 50 contacts/note/tasks entries and does not sync deletes for contacts/notes/tasks entries. Registration will remove these limitations and remove any registration/nag dialogs from the application."

I found myself in the very same situation that you describe. The solution for me was the same as others have suggested.

The cost for CompanionLink is $50 but worth every penny. Once you set up the program it runs in the background and you simply forget about any need for further action. I use CompanionLink to sync my desktop PC, netbook PC, Asus tablet and HTC android phone. All works perfectly well.

Not only that but between Companionlink and Google Calendar, I can see my wife's calendar as well as my work and personal calendars all in one calendar (and she can see all of mine) on any device we use. That way we can make appointments etc. cognizant of each other's other events.

Outlook 2003 will not sync. I upgraded to Office 2010 and can now sync my iPhone/iPad and Outlook.
