Synch MS Outlook calendar, with Android and iPad calendar

I have a problem and it is RV related because I want to use my phone calendar on the road instead of lugging along my laptop. I want to maintain my 2003 MS Outlook calendar and automatically synch ...

I use Thunderbird personally, and Outlook only at work. You might be able to do so by opening an Outlook.com account, you don't need to use it for email, and sync to your calender(via Connector?). Which can then be used to sync with an Android and iPad device.

There must also be some paid solutions available?
