Coverage maps on all the cellphone company's websites are a joke!

So you and I went to different places out west. So what?

Coverage maps are on the phone companies' websites. You can see all the 'no coverage' areas. Why would t-mobile, verizon, or any other company lie and tell you they do NOT have coverage when they secretly do?

X2 on this. I've full timed for the last 2 years and running a Straight Talk phone using the Verizon system and a Verizon MiFi in a Wilson Sleek. I've only had a very few times where I couldn't get service.

I'm currently about 15 miles outside Port Angeles, Wa and everything is working peachy.

I think Verizon is still the provider of choice for us travelers.

When I traveled all around the country two years ago-there was one place in the whole country I didn't have my Verizon hotspot or cell phones work. It was Carlsbad, New Mexico.

Other than the above I had service everywhere I went.

I'm sure there has been alot of improvement with the different data providers.

Back in my Electronic Systems working days in the 80s and 90s where we had to go all over the US especially in the northern parts of the states along the borders to Canada and even in AR, MS and AL and you just could not use any one other than VERIZON to get your work done... Arkansas was the worse with all of the mom and pop telephone companies there. Using their lines with our VERIZON Phones they would ask for a credit card number when you made long distance calls haha... the WALNUT RIDGE Telephone company still exists today I think...

All of the government travelers were issued VERIZON telephone cards and VERIZON Broadband AIR cards devices back then. VPN back to the home network was a must have thing back then...



Have stuck with VERIZON ever since.

We use VERIZON MIFI everywhere we go today... Even works in GOBER TX...

If it's only 10 GB total for 4 lines then it's not a good deal. I think it's 10 GB X 4 for 40 GB total on 4 lines, but each line can only use 10 GB each month.

The terms are a little confusing, but I think it's 10 GB times the number of lines. One of their FAQs says:

10GB are included with your plan, and an additional $10/month gets you 20GB for each person who needs more data.

For anybody that will be an avid RVer and travel extensively-T Mobile is not a viable option. I am glad it has worked for you. Their 4G coverage is very poor.
